Counselor Supervision Ethics

This presentation includes education focused on the specific standards set by the American Counseling Association Code of Ethics regarding Supervision, Training, and Teaching. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussion and a creative art intervention to explore ethical decision-making in their clinical practice. Three CEUs applicable to "S" credential for the PCC-S.
 
Participants will:
-Understand supervisor responsibility for client welfare and counselor supervision competence.
-Be aware of supervision relationships and responsibilities.
-Appreciate evaluation, remediation, and endorsement as supervision tasks.
-Know the responsibilities of counselor educators and their students and understand the ethical obligations regarding their relationships.
