Around 200 pieces of art are on display through the end of May at the show sponsored by the Lake County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services board.

PHOTOS: Expressions of Recovery

This year marks the 23rd annual show, which is a showcase of work created by area artists who have a brain disorder such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or clinical depression or an addiction. The event is also a way for the ADAMHS board to promote and kick off the celebration of May as Mental Health Month
