CALL For Student Scholarship

The Buckeye Art Therapy Association has 2 scholarship opportunities:

Don Jones Memorial Scholarship & Lucille Venture Diversity Scholarship

Applications are now being accepted for the Buckeye Art Therapy Association (BATA) Don Jones Memorial Student Scholarship and the Lucille Venture Diversity Scholarship to assist students in attending the annual BATA Symposium. The scholarship award includes the cost of student registration to the symposium. Finances collected through fundraising efforts at previous symposiums fund student scholarships.

1. An undergraduate student enrolled in a pre-art therapy/art therapy program
2. A graduate student enrolled in a Masters Art Therapy educational program.
3. A graduate student of color and/or diversity enrolled in a Master of Art therapy educational program.

• Being a student enrolled in a pre-art therapy or art therapy program at the bachelor or graduate level;
  
• Being a current student or friend member, or joined BATA at the time of application.

• A cover letter including name, address, e-mail, phone number, current school, and course of study;
  
• A copy of your student ID
  
• A letter of support from a faculty member;
  
• A brief essay (200-250 words) on the importance of receiving this scholarship and how attending the BATA Symposium will benefit your studies.
